Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Devices

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, also known as an ERCP medical procedure, is a technique that combines the use of upper GI endoscopy and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat problems in the biliary and pancreatic ductal systems. ERCP procedures are common when additional testing is needed beyond non-invasive imaging or when the ducts are blocked, making them inaccessible for other endoscopy imaging procedures. STERIS understands that these procedures can be challenging and is proud to offer a portfolio of therapeutic tools that help address these difficult problems. Our line of ERCP procedure devices includes the HISTOGUIDE™ Wire-Guided Forceps and INFINITY™ ERCP Sampling Device – an ideal pair to facilitate sampling in the biliary duct as well as everyday use solutions such as our convenient MIO™ Medical Device Organizer and CARR-LOCKE injection needle.

HISTOGUIDE™ Wire-Guided Forceps
HISTOGUIDE™ Wire-Guided Forceps
  • Wire-guide facilitates access into the biliary duct
  • Standard size biopsy forceps with serrated jaws effectively grab tissue
  • Spring loaded handle ensures the tissue sample is retained within endobiliary forceps
 Infinity ERCP Sampling Device
INFINITY™ ERCP Sampling Device
  • Features stiff bristles to help create a defect in the tissue and soft bristles to capture abraded material
  • Brush design includes spaces between bristles to help pack cells into the catheter during sampling of the bile duct
  • Provides a nitinol drive wire to allow for greater pushability and resistance to kinking
  • Compatible with long and short guidewires
CARR-LOCKE Injection Needle
CARR-LOCKE Injection Needle
