Endoscope Inspection and Protein Detection

Verification that cleaning was performed effectively and inspection of devices for damage ensures endoscopes are functioning at optimal levels. A borescope provides illumination and magnification to assist in visually inspecting the interior lumens of medical devices that are not easily visible. Protein detection helps confirm the manual cleaning process was successful before proceeding to high-level disinfection or sterilization.
