Manual Cleaning

Manual cleaning is a critical step in endoscope reprocessing, essential for effective infection prevention and patient safety. The thorough removal of organic soil and bioburden is necessary to allow subsequent high-level disinfection or liquid chemical sterilisation processes to be successful.

STERIS offers endoscope flushing aids, detergents, and manual cleaning tools, such as precision cleaning brushes, designed to support consistent, effective cleaning across complex endoscope channels and surfaces.
