STERIS provides a fully managed sterilisation and decontamination solution within a hospitals own in-house facility. This option, would include a full refurbishment and upgrade of any existing CSSD.

• A managed on-site service with the Hospital Administration retaining responsibility for the building and assets
• A managed on-site service which includes the transfer of ownership for plant and equipment (with the exception of the hospital building)
• Full or partial risk transfer of any onsite SSD would sit with STERIS IMS

STERIS provides a fully outsourced service, processing surgical instruments away from the Customers hospital site which can also include an endoscopy reprocessing unit. Acquiring through lease or purchase an industrial facility suitable for a Customers processing needs including fit out. This option includes:

• Full site assessment (size, planning requirements, regulation and compliance needs, capacity, layout, security etc.)
• Locality assessment in providing critical sterile services on time
• State of the art STERIS processing equipment and technology

STERIS provides a hybrid build, equip and manage model which, still allows Customers to utilise STERIS expertise in sterile managed services but instead of a fully outsourced CSSD STERIS manages the building, its equipment and its ongoing estate management.
